The tubular polymer membrane ultrafiltration systems offered by Uberplants Italia are ideal for treating wastewater and process water with high turbidity or high levels of suspended solids. These membranes, featuring an enlarged internal geometry, are particularly suitable for complex, sludge-laden or high-organic-load wastewater, where conventional solutions fail due to clogging or premature degradation. The tubular membranes can withstand suspended solids of up to 60,000 mg/L, ensuring uninterrupted operation and easy cleaning.

Its unique design ensures effective performance even in extreme conditions, with turbulent flow and heavy fouling. Cross-flow operation reduces fouling and improves yields, whilst maintaining constant permeate flow rates. This makes tubular systems ideal for the food and drink, chemical and paper industries, as well as for anaerobic digesters and for the filtration of digestate and water contaminated with biological sludge.

Every system is custom-designed, automated and can be monitored remotely. The solutions can be supplied in containerised form, ready for use and easily transportable. In addition, a subsequent reverse osmosis stage can be incorporated to reduce the volume of the effluent and discharge the permeate into the sewer system. The selected membranes are designed to ensure a long service life, high chemical and mechanical resistance, and low maintenance costs.
